The promotion of U21 manager Stuart Pearce was cancelled just a few days ago and now the FA presented a new manager. BlueStriker will take charge of the England team for the European Championships hosted by Poland and Ukraine. BlueStriker is known as succesfull manager of RW Ahlen in the 2.Bundesliga. Actually he leads SC Paderborn in the Bundesliga as one of the best six teams in the first half of the season. It is his first time as a national team manager in his short VDFB career.

"I think we need an English manager now, we don't need anything else lost in translation"

Obviously new nanager BlueStriker remembered Ferdinand´s statement cause he gives some hints for the upcoming squad nomination in a short press declaration today:

"I dont mind his tweet but what the England squad needs is a lot more speed on the pitch. What would Messi do with Ferdinand in a one on one situation? He would just pass him easily with the ball close to his foot. So i don´t think we will have many older and slow players in our squad. I´m just manager for this tournament so it might not be the end of their careers but Rio Ferdinand, John Terry and Frank Lampard will not be part of the England squad! If they did not understand what i said please tell them!"

The full squad will be presented until the weekend. New captain will be Wayne Rooney who´s assisted by Steven Gerrard and Ashley Cole. Despite his long term injury Jack Wilshere will be definately part of the team.
